A few months after the outbreak of the war

In the streets of Amman, I chose to capture a few fleeting moments to show a different Middle East, far from the darkest newspaper headlines. This small reportage was made a few months after the war began, along the streets of a magnificent city where the desire to live, normality and light-heartedness continue to emerge. All of this unfolds only a short distance from one of the most tragic military operations of our time, which has killed and continues to kill many innocent people, a great many of them children. Many of the faces I encountered belong to Palestinian families who have lived in exile for years. Through these images, I hope to restore at least a fragment of truth where I feel the media is failing miserably.
