Companions

Africa has always held a special appeal for me, a magical place that continues to resonate within me whenever I think of it. Travelling through the continent’s southernmost country, I felt nature as a constant presence: a silent companion, sometimes proud and fierce, at other times shy and elusive, yet always elegant in its realm.

In this project, every encounter becomes relationship, closeness and attention. It is not merely an observation of wildlife, but an attempt to convey the feeling of walking beside presences that, for a moment, become travel companions.

What remains are the gazes, the distances respected and the feeling that the truest journey is the one that returns us to the rhythm of nature.
